Post #19 - A Day Late, And A Buck Short

I hit the streets yesterday. Warm pavement underfoot. Gasping for breathe as my weak lungs yearned for air. Cars swerving to dodge my slow ass as I struggled to lift my knees. We all have to start somewhere though.
Anyways…
Tom’s Book Nook: “The Ministry of Time”

This book slaps. It’s part sci-fi, part romance, part historical fiction. Myself and Good Morning America both highly recommend. By the way, if you have a book rec for me, send me a detailed email on why I should read it. I’m always looking for the next thing to dig my teeth into.
I started a songwriting workshop with my main man Dave B from LVL Up and Trace Mountains. I have to admit, I knocked it out of the park with the first song share. It’s probably a hit. Now I am working on the next one and the prompt was to try something new and go at it like Bambi learning to walk. So my first thought was to get my Mumford on and bust out the banjo. I have never written a song on the banjo, I really don’t know how to play it. I usually just sprinkle it on top of my recordings like a pinch of sea salt to add some flavor. This week I am venturing into uncharted musical territory for me and we’ll see what happens. If it’s any good I will share, maybe.

I’ve been practicing real hard and play at 10.
