The question at the top of everyone’s minds… what’s the deal with the name of this newsletter? Well, it’s from the song “Ghost in the Truck Bed” by the great indie rock band Film Studies. Silence, is everything left unsaid and It’s a killer, because of the regret you feel from not letting it rip. So that’s what I aim to do with this newsletter.

Song of the Week!

So there’s this show on Netflix called “Love like a K Drama.” Boy did I burn through that thing. Japanese actresses. Korean actors. Barely able to communicate with each other without Google translate, trying to work together to win auditions for roles in K dramas while also falling in love. Hi-jinks ensues. Most of which is sound tracked by this little ditty.

The first time the song appears in the show you think nothing of it. The second time you’re wondering, “Didn’t they play this already?”

The third time, “Wow they’re getting their bang for their buck with this licensing agreement!”

And then by the 27th your on your feet singing along despite not knowing any of the words.

The vibes there though. It works in every scene.
