The song is inspired by Alicia and I’s trek through the southern coast of Portugal. The surfing? Good. Sitting on the side of the highway with a blown out tire, no spare, both of our phones on low battery while we melt in the sun? Not good.

Show Report: LVL UP @ Baby’s All Right 8/3

I saw one of my all-time favorite bands take the stage last Saturday as part of a weekend of shows celebrating 10 year anniversary of their album Hoodwink’d. The show was killer, the tunes were great and the fog machine was suffocating.

Considering the fact that they hadn’t played a show in 6 years together I was pretty blown away by how locked in they were. Plus I got a new hat!

Unfortunately though, Alicia said it’s the last time we will ever go to Brooklyn for a show since it was once again a monsoon as we drove in.

But what a show to go out on!

Happy birthday to our child! Alicia and Frank shared a cup of vanilla ice cream on Tuesday to celebrate Frankie’s 4th. Separate spoons of course.
