We’re live! Listen to my new song “Garden” on Spotify now and every other streaming platform at some point once their slow asses process it.

This song is a reflection on the meditative experience of watching the seeds you sow bear fruit as they say. I enjoy the relaxing routine of strolling through the yard and checking out the crops with Frankie in tow. Sipping on my afternoon cup of joe as Alicia and I water our plants and pull weeds. It’s nice.

Gear Talk: Alesis SR-16/Boss FS-6

Let’s talk shop… I got this Alesis drum machine recently and it’s like having a jam session with a little robot buddy. I’ve mostly just been utilizing the preset drum patterns, which there are quite a few of, and it has been a helpful tool for me as I test out some new tunes.

I also got this Boss foot switch pedal that allows me to switch between A and B patterns for each preset. So for example, if I am using the Country 01 preset and I tap B on the foot switch it will change to an alternate beat within the same style. Who knows, if I get good enough at using it maybe I will take this show on the road.
