“Chewing Gum” is a song I liked but after going back to the lab and re-recording the whole damn thing I think I am starting to get feelings for it. You can listen to it now if you so choose via this Soundcloud link. Once I sort out the cover art we’ll get this puppy on streaming.

Tom’s Book Nook

I started the year off strong by reading two books in the month of January.

• Sea of Tranquility - Emily St. John Mandel

• World Within A Song - Jeff Tweedy

The same can’t be said for this month as I have started and stopped a number of books. No money wasted though thanks to the public library! Looking to jump start my reading this month I am now returning to a series and author that has yet to let me down. The Wayfarers series by Becky Chambers consists of 4ish books with a different cast of characters in each. It’s a sc-fi series but it’s less beep-beep, game ray blasts, lightspeed! and more warm, kind and character focused. I am now starting book 4:

• The Galaxy, and Ground Within - Becky Chambers

I also highly recommend her novella series Monk & Robot which follows a tea monk (basically a therapist who travels to villages and makes tea for people) and a robot named Mosscap on a philosophical road trip.
