Bobby D movie review, new music playlist, more of my usual ramblings.

I love logging things. I use Letterboxd to track what movies I watch, I was a last.fm freak back in middle school maybe? And since high school I have been creating yearly reading goals. I love data folks. For the past three years I have set a reading goal of 28 books and have yet to meet it. I can’t seem to get past 24 books. Maybe I’m just a two books a month guy? Fuck it though, we ride again! Hold me accountable folks. If you see me and I don’t have a book in my hand slap me in the face! I’m turning the pages of Gravity Lost by L.M. Sagas right now. It is the second book in the Ambit’s Run saga. I’m a sucker for the classic found-family-spaceship-crew trope. In other words, keep your jedi shit. I’d rather fly the millennium falcon.
Bob Dylan and I agree that his first album ain’t it. Which is why I was not familiar with the tune “Song to Woody” until I saw lil’ timmy sing the hell out of it in the motion picture “A Complete Unknown.” Holy cow! I swear it had grown men moved to tears in the theater I was in.
I’m not a Dylan scholar so I don’t really care about any timeline inaccuracies or whether he performed a song at Newport in ‘65 or ‘66. My butt was in the seat for the tunes and this movie deliveries. I give it two fists in my pockets.
