Post #62 - Acheeeew!

Howdy! I hope everyone doesn’t mind that I’ve been spacing out the newsletter posts… but let’s be real I don’t know if anyone has noticed. I’ve just been mentally compiling content and waiting until my brain pot boils over. This week feels right I think. So here we go. I’ve got a big ‘ol update for you. Let’s start with my allergies… boy am I sneezing a lot! Tissues galore. They’re in my pockets, they’re going through the wash, and boxes are strategically placed throughout the house so I am always within reach of one. I’ve also started wearing a mask outside to aid in my ability to get anything done! Which brings me to my next thing… the garden update.

I mainly use Youtube for background music when I leave my dogs but I did stumble across this guy Pat Finnerty’s channel recently and have been hooked. He has this great serious of videos where he breaks down why a particular song stinks. I’m sharing the video he did on “Beverly Hills” because I know my audience but the “Dani California” one is also up there.

Here’s a ripper I’ve been sitting on. I think this is maybe the heaviest Film Studies track but that’s not really saying much. I was going to put it on the Summer Weather Ep but it just didn’t quite get finished in time. Should I let this bad boy run free? We’ll see.

Lastly, I’ve been cruising through this autobiography by the two brothers from The Jesus and Mary Chain. Boy, these guys are fucked up lol. One brother was an alcoholic with a coke problem and the other was an alcoholic with a hankering for that mary jane. How about that? The guitarist from the mary chain was smoking the mary jane… Anyways, great band.
